Steak 'n Shake - Des Plaines

My son took me here today for the vatertag and this place was spick and span from top to bottom. very high-tech without a cashier. I have ordered everything on kiosk to their various vikings. friendly staff welcomes them as soon as they go in and eat is super fast delivered to them as they call their names.

It was okay. Burger Joint places you generally end up spending more money than you playing on and you're in a fast food atmosphere. The people were pretty nice and my burger was pretty good

Meh. Ordering is now by kiosks you pick your food up bring it to your own table. The staff was helpful had positive attitudes, but not the same experience. Food shakes still yummy.

Finally made it here. Excited to try their famous steak burger.....and it's delicious.

Fries are basically the most important thing when ordering from a place like this, so I've included a photo for clarification. I personally love these skinny fries and the drive thru is super fast. I recommend!
