Victory Lane - Des Moines

I recently visited a restaurant that used to be called Victory Lane, but is now under new ownership with a different name. They were offering a steak night special, and I was pleasantly surprised by the great food and excellent service. In the past, when it was still Victory Lane, the service was terrible and the food was mediocre at best. However, the new owner has done a fantastic job of turning things around. I highly recommend this place now, as the staff does amazing work. Kudos to them for significantly improving the business.

I went to this restaurant for a friend's birthday and was pleasantly surprised because I didn't even know it existed before. I'm happy to have discovered it because they have some of the best onion rings and sausage sandwiches I've had in a while. The Long Island Iced Teas were also pretty good.

I would rate the staff, food, and ambiance of this restaurant a 5, but would give the owner a 0. Even though I do not frequent this establishment anymore, I still highly recommend the food. Last week, my boyfriend ordered the taco pizza and it looked and tasted absolutely amazing.

The chicken nachos are bomb.com! A must try! You have really good wings. We like to order them properly and well done! Great local bar to have some food and enjoy a game of the pool.

What a bar grill should be: A few menu items done well, like homemade cavatelli, with a fun, friendly atmosphere.
