Fishing Rock Eatery Lounge - Depoe Bay

This review is for their fish and chips. It wasn't a good choice. I love good fish and chips and often order it in seafood restaurants. In this case, the menu said that the dish fries four pieces of fried cod and waffle. Weapons wouldn't have been my first choice, but I agreed. When it arrived, there were four pieces each about the size of a broken silver dollar, and maybe twice as thick. They were baked and fried, but still limp because they were so thin slices. The waffles were basically your deep-frozen waffles, which I expected. There was also a basic Cole Slav, which was decent, but the fish was simply disappointing. All four pieces were not even a piece that I would get in most places. As for the service, it was good if we had a waiter. People were nice even if they were obviously short employees like many restaurants these days. I'll say my friend had a chicken sandwich he said was good. So my advice is when you go to fishing rock skip the fish.

Always fun to hear the actors (our favorite is Steve Cook), and this was our first trip to the newly named, re-opened, modeled lounge. The food was excellent (we shared a plate of Bourbon pine shrimps, and ordered the special BBQ ribs along with Prime Rib French Di and delicious hard cedar to wash it. All were delicious, and of course Steve's music made the evening perfect!

Great place. Shelby was amazing. Pineapple shrimp appetizer was spicy delicious. My wife loved the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. Bathrooms are super clean. Sports on 2 TVs. We'll be back.

For the first time there, super friendly, great atmosphere. Pizza brilliant and her chowder to die. The next week was ordered and was just as good. They took so much care to ensure that we had everything from napkins, utensils, packed with care. Will go back.

Chose this place at the recommendation of a lady on a walk, and I'm glad we did. We got great, friendly service on a quiet off-season lunch hour and the food was delicious! We had the fish and chips (only available on Friday, we're told), buffalo chicken pizza, and the cheesecake. Each was well made, served hot, made in house, and very tasty. Has a nice cocktail too! I'm going to be thinking about that cheesecake for a long time... Other features: Easy to find, good amount of parking, new and shiny clean place.
