Saika Sushi - Depew

I was not impressed with this restaurant. The rolls and sushi had too much rice compared to other places, and the server kept urging me to eat all of it. I enjoy sushi rice, but it should be balanced with the right amount of fish. The Kani salad was a highlight, but the salmon sashimi was just average.

I don't typically eat sushi, but I had a great dining experience at this restaurant while out with friends who love sushi. The food was hot and fresh, made to order. Unlike other all-you-can-eat but order through a waiter restaurants that play games by making you wait for the server to come around, here the staff were attentive and regularly checked on our table to see if we needed more food. The service was quick and we never had to wait long for someone to assist us.

Went for the all you can eat sushi lunch buffet which is $15.99 and it really is all you can eat. Unlike typical buffets you don?t go up and get the food you want, but instead you have a server will take your order at the table and bring you things. Wewent around 1:30pm and had about a 30 minute wait to get in so we really only had an hour to order or so we thought as thekitchen actually closes at 2:30 PM instead of 3pm which is the posted end of lunch time. he were stuffed anyways, but if theywere very busy it could take a while for you to get your order at your table so you might not get a chance to eat as much as youwould like in the given time especially as there as a two hour limit. In terms of the food quality, I was impressive for theprice. The sushi was good and all the appetizers and side items we ordered were great as well. Definitely would go back again,but will be mindful of how busy they can be for lunch.

I really love this restaurant. The sushi is excellent and the hibachi dishes are amazing. May, our server, is sweet and attentive. I tried Ramune (Japanese soda) for the first time and now I'm hooked. I give this place a perfect 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it. The all-you-can-eat option for $24.99 is unbeatable.
