Bidrage med feedbackI love this place for the game selection, super fun and we had plenty of tokens after getting the $20 bag. Biggest downside is the alcohol, if you go, just get things you KNOW have alcohol (beer, white claw etc) my cocktails had no alcohol at all, i watched the bartender make my two cocktails and didnt add in any liquor. She poured in Zing zang mixer straight out of the bottle so i know liquor wasnt added before hand. My finacee also thinks his whiskey was watered down, he drinks whiskey quite a bit and is no stranger to a shot but it was lighter than normal Jack Daniels and tasted watered down. I came in sober and after 3 pickle shots and two cocktails i left sober as well. Just enjoy the games and stick to beer/bottles/cans
My husband and I were looking for something fun to do on one of our open nights while visiting Denver, and we are so glad we checked out 1up! They have a big selection of games, and most are just 25 cents to play. There are cup holders and shelves everywhere so that you can put your drinks down while playing games. This would be a great place for a fun date!
This place was cool, I had never been to a bar arcade and was pleasantly surprised. The only down side to this bar was it was a little dark. But that being said it’s worth the stop if you have time
In town for an IT summit. We went to this adult arcade and it was pretty live. We played all the old school games. It was a fun team builder. They had all the games from when we were younger, Pac-Man, ms Pac-Man, Galaga, centipede, donkey Kong and so many more. The only draw back, we all ordered drinks and there’s no place to sit your drink while playing games. Honestly, that’s the only bummer. Would possibly visit again when in town again.
My husband is a bit of a gamer and enjoys a beer or two so this was a definite on our trip to Denver. We went on our first night, trying to keep the jet lag at bay even though it was technically 4 o’clock in the morning for us. It was a Saturday night after a ball game so it was pretty busy but that added to the atmosphere, it’s kinda dank and grubby down there, but with so many people in the space you don’t notice it as much especially alongside the flashing lights from the machines and the music. The games seemed well maintained but my husband just wished there were a few less pinball machines and few more electronic arcade games. The games weren’t badly price nor the beer and whilst there wasn’t too much choice there were enough options for craft/real ale beer drinkers. Definitely a good place to spend an hour or two just expect it to be a bit noisier on a Saturday night.
