Prohibition - Denver

This restaurant used to be fantastic. However, I recently found out from peeking through the door that the owner has sold the place and Prohibition is no longer in business.

Friendly staff, top quality scratch ingredients. An excellent hamburger for when you want premium grade beef.

This is a unique bar with a great variety of drinks. I tried the recommended short rib sandwich and was impressed by how tender it was, although it was a bit too salty for my liking.

Prohibition is good. We went with a large group and they were accommodating. It wouldn’t be the first place I recommend in Denver. It seems to be in a rough part of town— no parking. Bar service only. Food was ok, nothing super special. I got the short rib sandwich as that was recommended to me. It was fine. Large whiskey selection. I’d eat there again if I had to but I am certainly not rushing back!
