Bidrage med feedbackIce cream was ok. Person at the counter was friendly and nice. A little icey and I felt rushed to leave, hence the lack of images. I got cookies and cream and banana pudding. Would have liked to try to vegan ice creams, too. The cookies and cream seemto be made from a cookie base versus a vanilla base which is always nice. Would have liked to have a flight or possibly trymore flavors. Perhaps I missed the option?
I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to for this! I love love love ice cream and milkshakes, but I'm a vegan and often cannot find good options at ice cream places. But right now I'm sipping on a Vegan Almond Joy milkshake made with coconut milk, and it's the best vegan milkshake I've ever had. It just tastes really good, and I love the little bits of almond, chocolate, and coconut in it. If you're a vegan, I highly recommend checking this place out! The staff is super friendly, too!
Every time we have been here, sadly we have been told that they are not serving shakes or malts due to being understaffed and it takes too long to mix them when there is a crowd. When we were there, there was no line. If you don't serve malts or shakes, ordon't want to make them, then take them off your menu.
This business is a decent old fashioned ice cream shop inside the Denver Union Station building. It is located in the southwest corner of the building and you can enter from the outdoor patio on the west side, or go through the coffee shop fromthe inside public seating area. This ice cream shop has a good variety of ice cream flavors, some non-dairy (I believe),perhaps 15 or more flavors. I overheard the flavors can change hourly and there is no schedule for when a particular flavor isavailable. So count your luck if you find your favorite from this shop! There are cone options and of course different sizecones and bowls. Prices were OK, especially for a touristy location. My only complaint might be the ice cream was not cold andwell on its way to melting (on a hot July day). Service was great. They treated customers well and addressed customers?questions and concerns despite the long line out the door. My son and I hung out at the train station with our ice cream towatch people and trains. There are tables and old station benches available for sitting. Actually there is a wide variety ofseating arrangements and accommodations. If you are meeting anyone downtown, this would be a great place. Although it can getbusy. Don?t forget there is seating just outside the shop on an outdoor patio as well by the station fountain. Milkbox is agreat treat and a nice excuse to visit Union Station.
Milk box Ice Creamery has super tasty ice cream, with lots of flavor options. The shop even had a couple of sorbet flavors for my dairy-free kiddos. Service is friendly. It?s located in Denver?s Union Station. We took the RTD light rail there. Howeverthere is some street side metered parking. My only concern is the price. A single scoop costed just over four dollars. Otherthan that, Milk ox Ice Creamery is a wonderful place to get ice cream.
