Bidrage med feedbackService was friendly but inattentive for long periods of time. Bottled beer was warm. Big pour of white wine. Chairs on patio have leather seats that are shredded and almost completely peeled off. Lamb filled Naan was undercooked. Masala sauce furnished gratis for dipping was just OK. Mutter paneer was somewhat flavorful and medium spiced but butter chicken, also requested medium spice, came out as mild and flavorless. Gratis dessert of Indian donut holes in syrup was very sweet and heavy. The patio itself is reasonably pleasant urban dining other than the chairs. Considering everything, we would have much preferred to be at India's on Hampden, our go to for Indian food in southeast Denver. Food, service and ambience there are far superior to this Little India's, which is best described as a place to get a large serving of average quality food at a good price. That's not what we are looking for when we dine out but others might like it.
Delicious food! Everyone in my family ordered a different dish and everybody loved the flavors
Great service! There was a sitar player during our meal, which was really lovely--not so loud that we couldn't talk, and really beautiful music. We had too many appetizers, but they were so tasty! My only complaint would be that the edamame were very messy because they had curry sauce on them. The onion rings were delicious, and much lighter than most onion rings. When the main courses came, I was already stuffed, but of course I managed to taste everything except my husband's vindaloo. The rest of us got medium spicy (non-Indian), and it was perfect. The sag paneer was delicious, as was the lamb tikka masala. Our server suggested chicken Kashmiri and it was really great--maybe the best dish out of the three. I will definitely be back.
The food and service were both amazing thank you for the wonderful experience. Half of our party had never tried Indian food, and Coco was awesome in explaining the different sauces and ingredients used and in recommending things they could try. I went with the Chicken tikka masala, and it was delicious half of us got the same thing and loved it. Those that got the chicken biryani and shrimp biryani also loved it. The Naan was delicious; we especially enjoyed the garlic naan; but the house special naan wasn't bad mostly interesting. As someone who has enjoyed Indian food before, I didn't find Little India to be unnecessarily spicy, which is often the case with some Indian restaurants, instead it was the perfect level of spicy and super delicious and tasty. Those who enjoy extra spicy, be sure to ask when you order or ask for a side of some spicy sauce (think it was pakora sauce). Everyone, from our waitress, Coco, to the manager who kept checking us to ensure everything was ok, to those who brought the food out, were awesome.
This was our first time here and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal! While the Onion Bhaji was delicious, not sure if it was authentic. The vegetable Momo were superb. We enjoyed Lamb Saag and Bharta Makhani with some of the best garlic cheese naan! We will return. The predinner cocktails were not good and took a very long time. Wine was a little warm but that was easily fixed.
