Botellón - Denver

We had reservations and came 30 minutes early, but they let us sit. Very appreciated! The service was attentive without being overlaid. We were somewhat disappointed in the limited menu items. Typical tapas bars/restaurants offer many options for sampling from different categories of appetizers, vegan, meat and seafood. Botellon offers all these, but again limited, and three offers have already been sold, the limited decisions even more. Food sizes were also on the small side, even considering that they are tapas sizes. We ordered Hangar Steak for $16 and got 4 small pieces of steak. I would understand whether the accompanying sauce or ornaments made for it, but I cannot even remember it. Appetizer with Proscuitto was good with good portions of delicious Proscuitto. It was probably the most generous part of all ordered articles. We also ordered the seafood paella, which was very good. It was the largest part with many shells, but a skalopp and a small piece of fish for $24. Overall, it was decent, but a little disappointing in terms of food. The service was wonderful.

Excellent food and service. Very authentic, covered tapas restaurant. Go back there.

Great place to eat. We enjoyed the sardines and the sausage paella. Service was great!

Great food and ambiance. Reccomend patatas bravas and pulpo. Mostly caring and informative servers, others a tad pretentious, but didn’t take away from the overall experience. Second time here and would definitely return.

Server had an attitude. Food subpar for price. Brought three items we didn't order and charged for a more expensive glass of wine than we ordered. Won't go back.
