Egg House Cafe - Denton

We've been meaning to try Egg House Cafe ever since it opened a few months ago. We finally had our chance on Father's Day. There was a bit of a wait for seating and apologies that our food was taking so long, perfectly understandable that day. But everything was delicious and worth the wait. I had the French Crepes with lots of yummy berries with a side of thick, perfectly cooked and tasty bacon. I can't remember what hubs had because I was too focused on my own plate , but I do remember him saying it was very good and he'd come back again high praise indeed! They kept my coffee and our waters filled. Great service at the table. They need dedicated staff to seat people and run the register. Someone was doing triple duty that day and the counter was often unattended with lines in and out clogging the entrance. Perhaps a better set up to keep the traffic jam down. Just a few years ago, Denton had only a couple of so so breakfast places. Now there's one on nearly every corner, and most are very good. Egg House Cafe is high on our favorites list. We will definitely be back many times!

My wife and I love this place. It’s nearly a weekly visit for us. The steak skillet is my favorite, but you really cannot go wrong with this place. Literally everything on the menu is fantastic. All of the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome and taken care of. The owners always say hey and welcome you in with a smile. This a great place owned by great people.

The food was really good. Grandson and I had Zachary as our waiter and he was exceptional. Omelet, cheese grits, biscuit, sausage and potatoes were very good. I never had to ask for coffee refills as all wait staff make sure you don't have to ask. So glad I finally stopped and tried this cafe. I will definitely eat here again. They serve breakfast and lunch.

It's nice to find a local breakfast place, especially one with great food. The eggs taste like they're farm fresh, which is an extremely rare and awesome find.

Best place for breakfast in Denton! I'm disappointed I waited so long to try it! The service, the food, the atmosphere was top-notch!
