The Jalapeno Tree - Denison

We had a good dinner and enjoyed UNTIL the waitress after we took all 's tickets/payments including mine, came back and claimed that she had still an open ticket the exact amount of my ticket that I already paid (Cash)...and the waitress insisted that it 't paid. Then when the manager came on request of my husband, his answer was, I was not there, I saw nothing and he went on to ask for my ID would not accept my name/phone number. Then he said you didn't pay it and if you don't want to pay... if I pay DID! And their prices are too high!

The host we recommended this place, so we gave it a try. I had a veggie bowl that was much spicier when I expected, but still good. Veggies perfectly cooked! The children's dishes are generous and expensive. The salsa and other diving sauce were also good, and our waiter stopped them coming! The service was good, the ambience was good. Nothing spectacular but worth a visit for good food and fair prices, especially for a big party.

Maybe a great place to eat if you could come in. Beautiful landscape. Smooth from the parking lot...

Whoever the man worked with the glasses and the green shirt behind the bar and took orders on Tuesday 06/07/2022, PAY HIM MORE. One of the best servers I've ever had. We made an order with him, and he served us our drinks before the time, served us chips, made sure we had some refills before we got our order. Very pleasant! I really hope he got our tip (I had to tap my card). He made my day and I hope he will be served in the future!

Just wanted to let you know to forget this restaurant as a place to go. Instead of paying more, they post signs about how understaffed they are. Then they spend 5 minutes at your table telling you how busy and behind they are! The real reason I am posting is that the female Manager came to take our order. We ordered beef and chicken fajitas and then WARNED the Manager about a severe shellfish allergies of one of us. She assured us it would be fine, but I am writing this from the emergency room! LAST VISIT!
