The Penthouse - Den Haag

The view here is so good that the food could be bland and the service rubbish and I would STILL go. It's that beautiful. And yet the food is great, the service is great, the vibe is trendy and sleek. We went at sunset which was just spectacular. Highly recommend for a classy night out.

For the rather few attractions Den Haag offers, the Den Haag tower actually was one of my favourites. I am a huge fan of panoramic views so that is a plus. For 6 EUR you can go all the way up and a drink at 'The Penthouse ' is also included. Here the service was really friendly and it is a fancy bar/ restaurant mixture. It probably is a bit pricey up there if you are getting food but from what I saw it looked well worth it. ;

The view! Yes the view. What? You don 't understand what I mean? Ok. You go there, take an elevator to the top floor, get a drink, seat by the window and phase out! The view!: The bar is pricey, atmosphere is a little posh, but it 's a good filter to drive the virtuous crowd away ahs keep it as a quality house out for doing your cocktail from the great height of the tower.

As soon as I arrived upstairs on the 42nd floor for this restaurant the view was to die for. Before even eating or enjoying my meal they allowed me to walk outside and take in the beautiful city of The Hague in the Netherlands. I decided to take a risk and try the surprise 5 course meal. At first the waiter recommended wine pairing each meal and I Ofcourse was for it. First meal was a ceviche with watermelon.. but it was very refreshing and flavorful with a nice glass of a light white wine. Second was the Soup, it wasn't my favorite but it was ok. The serving of it had more life than the soup itself in my opinion. 3rd dish I sent back after fee bights, it was there in between meal, it was fishy but tasted fishy and oily, wasn't that good definitely stay away from that u less you want fishy flavor and scent. Main course however took forever to receive, was little bummed out by it. But the flavor of the steak was great. Medium to medium well and juicy as can be.
