A great neighborhood bar. It's pretty clear from almost the moment you walk in that people are regulars here and/or live in the neighborhood. It's a good thing- the staff is welcoming, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The food is good and the beer comes in frosted mugs. It's a great place for everything from a casual dinner or drinks to a church committee meeting. Unpretentious and friendly.

I drove in from Cincinnati yesterday to spend some time with mom and dad and we finally made it to Harry's. I grew up in Lansing and attended Sexton High School, but never knew about Harry's until mom and dad started talking about it this past year. I must say it did not disappoint. I tried the pizza, which was excellent. The server was very efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and laid back. I told my parents that we need to come here every time I visit : On the way back to their house we stopped by the house in the Colonial Village area where I grew up. All in all, a nice day :
