The Second Mouse - Delhi

We just left The Second Mouse and can’t get over how fantastic it is! The owner Theresa was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had called ahead to have a cheese box made for a Christmas gift. When we arrived there was so many things to...look at, not just cheese. We sampled several cheeses (whisky cheddar, multi coloured Gouda and a red leister) and they were all great. We left the store wondering if we should have got a red leister for ourselves! The second mouse is a MUST if you’re in the area. Can’t wait to visit again.

Great place to stop for a cheese plate and an interesting bottle. Would return.

The proprietor is very knowledgeable about the large variety of cheeses that she sells. You can taste them before buying and she will suggest others which you may prefer. Do not expect to see your standard grocery store cheeses; these are much better and are...sourced from a variety of countries. We chose one from each of France, England, Wales, Scotland and a local one from a nearby farm/producer. She also sells items for serving and to accompany the various cheeses. An excellent store well worth the trip of the main road for any cheese lover. Note that it is located on a side street, not on the main road through town.
