Blend Of Seven Winery - Delaware

This place is a hidden gem! Pizza is great and the wine is delicious, you can’t go wrong with adding Blend of Seven Winery to your list of “go to “ places. The owner is kind (not a wine snob), funny, and an excellent teacher! He worked the room, and is the type of person that makes everyone feel special! Here’s to hoping your business flourishes based on your love of wine and teaching others!

Came here for the first time. What a awesome place. Did a wine flight and Steve the owner brought over other samples to try out. Food is really good and a varied menu. Make sure to try this local winery out. Support small businesses.

We ordered a bottle of VOVelvaTouch wine. Nowhere on the wine menu does it state this is an effervescent wine nor did the server so inform us. The effervescence was harsh and off putting and had an unpleasant mouth feel. It is listed as semi sweet and missed the mark there as well. We ordered food with my wife ordering the cheese cakzone bc she does not eat meat. I ordered the chips with pulled pork and their sauce. The calzone was well packed with cheese . The dough g. Was very pale and slightly under cooked. It did have herbs on it which was a nice add. My dish came out barely warm and the cheese had hardened into a shield that had to be cut as opposed to pulled apart. The chips were kettle cooked potato chips which were different and actually a pleasant surprise as I had expected the usual tortilla Chios that you get elsewhere. They held uo well and were still crispy but that was must likely due to the desert dryness of the pork. No smoke taste or aroma to be found despite the smoker in the front parking lot. For someplace considered the beat winery in Delaware County this was a disappointment as we had looked forward to good meal and bottle of wine. The bright spot was the friendliness a of the staff.

Steve is PHENOMENAL! It was our first time visiting the winery and had not been the best day for my sister and I. Without hesitation we were welcomed in and treated like family. Steve took the time to educate us about all of the different wines we were sampling and how they came to be.This is a unique and ONE OF A KIND winery! Definitely worth the stop to see what Blend Of Seven is all about! The local/hometown environment and setting was perfect!

If you have not come to this winery, you need to add it to your list. Steve was absolutely phenomenal, and is an amazing human being through and through. I am not one to leave reviews places but Steve made this an amazing experience after an absolutely terrible day. Proof in the pudding that you never know what someone is going through and you should be kind.
