Rushing Waters Trout House Delavan

I want this restaurant to be great! we spend mai to oktober in the opposite and eat a lot of time. love the building old restored, wood floors, exposed walls, charming. it is not the best situation, but if they are exceptional, people will come (see paisainos in richmond). I ordered that the salmon was quite dry and needed a sauce. as with my men trout. but, the actual murderer of the evening was the kettle one drink that my man ordered, it was a tiny glass, filled with ice and what looked like to be about 2 tablespoons of wodka. for $9.00! our female server was very efficient and so friendly. this could be an extraordinary place if they can last for so long.

Fresh! clean simple green atmosphere. bacon wrapped scallops, garnel apps were accompanied by knowledgeable recipes from large sauce buddies. trout was incredible! side were also great, haricots vert with just one kiss of garlic, potato pancakes, a little overdone but tasteful. compliments on fresh salad dresses, so an accent on healthy greens! the server needs nights, but very personal. I'll be back when I'm back in the opposite.

Made a reservation for Dinner on a Saturday night but was unnecessary, as it wasn’t even half full. It took quite a long time for the trout to be served when there were only a few tables occupied. Trout portions were small and very thin, especially for the price. Good food, all considered.

Every time we have eaten at Trout House Delavan, we have LOVED the food. It's always creative and freshly flavorful. Anything with their trout is great, but the current filet medallions are excellent as well. The service was a little rushed, but we found out there had been a medical situation (older man passed out and fell) and knowing that, the service was really great they just seemed a little rattled. They are always very friendly and upbeat. Be sure you try the smoked trout brushetta! And they make a great Old Fashioned!

Four of us had a great time at Rushing Waters Trout House in Delavan. The food was excellent, and our server could not have been any nicer. Highly recommended.
