Connie's Cafe - DeLand

Service is great! The grilled gyro is served open faced. Everything was very good including the cole slaw.

Okay this is my wife's favorite place to eat( tuna melt have a very big selection of food had my first time ever soup called red velvet oh my goodness it was very good great atmosphere employees are very nice and attenitative they are connected to shopping areas of downtown DeLand great place to visit

Very good food at an affordable price. I work in Downtown DeLand and visit once or twice a week. Love the Turkey Reuben and the buffalo chicken pita. Yum! The fish sandwich is great as well. Counter service-so you order and then go to window to pick it up. Always quick and efficient.

It was a good place for a quick bite to eat. Staff was friendly. I got a roast beef club with a side of their velvet soup. Have to say it is something I have never had before. The broth for the soup was thicker than a chowder. It was good.

We have been going to this Cafe for about 10 years (since it was Cooks Cafe) and we have never had a bad meal! The service is so friendly and wonderful and we always enjoy stopping in to see Connie and her family. The Red Velvet soup is a MUST try and my 5 year old says Connie makes the best grilled cheese in all DeLand!
