Faranda's Banquet Center - DeKalb

We had pick-up holiday meals during the pandemic they were very good. We decided today to try their breakfast for the first time. My wife had avocado toast with sliced boiled eggs a cup of fresh fruit was very satisfied. I on the other hand orderedthe full order of biscuits gravy with a cup of coffee. The biscuits were very dry (old? the gravy was very poor, lots ofcorn starch very little meat! I had ask the waitress if they were good she just said lots of people order them. When shecame by I told her that I wouldn?t recommend them. She said she would let them know. I ate half of the order only because I wasvery hungry. Most good restaurants would ask if they could get you something different when you tell them something is not good,but not here. The coffee was good but I had to go home eat. It also appears that their suggested tips are based on the foodtotal, plus tax. I would be very wary of returning here to eat breakfast!

Great food. Adjusted well to continue to serve customers through ever changing restrictions and expectations for public dining. Great banquet hall for gatherings as well.

I saw a big banquet. eating was excellent, served buffet style. waiters were very attentive with water and drinks.

Had a wedding rehearsal dinner here. Very professional service. Great food, very clean and nicely arranged. I would recommend this place for any special occasions.

Went to another business in bldg. Lincoln Restaurant had breakfast. Service was excellent .
