Camping Urbasa - Deierri

Arrived at this site in transit to main destination and in poor weather, so did not experience things at their best. However it did seem to have the potential to be a fairly unique camping experience. Access is about 10km from the main highway up a winding road that would have been picturesque in other circumstances. The site itself is in splendid isolation on a hill top with plenty trees and nature all around. The site seems very spacious indeed through there were few guests when we arrived ?due to weather). The basic facilities are very good with electricity 2 pin) and well kept toilet block, nice restaurant and small shop but with very limited supplies. Wi-fi smart phone coverage was hit and miss. There seems to be some horse riding on-site but it was not obviously advertised. There seems to be a lot of woodland walks outside the site where cattle and donkeys roam free. More information would have been helpful on our arrival. It is hard to give a definitive judgement on the site based on our limited experience but is promising and worth another visit.

Nice, welcoming and good prices. Relaxed environment that guarantees an amazing weekend. The food was great and affordable we also cooked and shared conversations with people in the camping

Estive em tenda lamu Kampaoh. Adorei a tenda, grande, confortável, com mesa de exterior para refeições. O camping fica situado numa zona lindíssima, mesmo no topo da serra, rodeada pela natureza no seu estado puro, super verdejante (nesta altura). Temos à nossa volta vacas, burros, cavalos e ovelhas. Total sossego, ideal para descanso e explorar a serra. No que toca aos serviços do camping tivemos problemas com a água quente dos duches que estava avariada,mas foi-nos dada alternativa de tomar banho noutros bungalows. Em relação à tenda acrescentava uma vassoura e apanhador pois rapidamente esta fica com o chão sujo. Podia também disponibilizar uma pequena placa e/ou fervedor eléctrico. O caminho até lá não é fácil, mas compensa. Staff simpático,alguns com mais facilidade de comunicação do que outros. No geral compensa muito pelo local onde se insere. Recomendo.
