Count the memories not calories . Where Mussorie lights , 4th floor at Hotel Park View, rajpurroad, in front of Gandhi Park, Dehradun. . . Food I have captured some of the dishes served at this restaurant . TBH, food was really good. Specially the cheese balls, they were yum yum yum . Pizza was also cheesy
Mussoorie lights cafe situated on the top floor of Hotel Park View is a hidden gem of Doon. It offers the best view to Mussoorie from Dehradun city and its ambience has a fresh feel to it We ordered cheese bombs, pizza, non veg platter, pasta in white sauce and creamy mushroom, wonton cups, virgin mojito and cold coffee. After that ordered north Indian main course. Let's start with the things you should definitely try cheese bombs as they were heavenly with loads of cheese oozing along with fresh vegetables inside, the flavour of cheese was packing a punch. Wonton cups were also really good with really crisp cups made from wheat along with salsa and some toppings in the cup. Virgin mojito and cold coffee were the best drinks we had here. They source their coffee from CCD so the quality of coffee was just how it should be. While virgin mojito was really refreshing. Non vegetarian platter was amazing with different meats cooked in ample amount of time in tandoor, marination and the cooking time on them was good. Coming to the main course the biryani and daal makhani were really good. Biryani had all the aroma and flavor that it needed. So overall it's a really good place with some quirky items in menu like wonton cups. You guys should head out if you're looking for the perfect Mussoorie view from Dehradun city.
Where On the top floor of Park View Hotel, Astley hall. @parkviewdehradun Ambience 4/5. So the restaurant is located on the top floor of a hotel and it worked out as an advantage because you can see the mussorie night view from there, hence the name. They have installed this neon board of restaurant name which can be spotted from a distance. Smart move! I also think their rooftop restaurant is quiet well arranged. The aesthetics are beautiful set up and I really appreciate when there is a nature touch to a fancy restaurant. You'll spot a lot of plants near white fences and flower vases on each table. In terms of space, the place is spacious enough to accommodate lot of groups at a time. Ideal for going on coffee dates, group dinners and birthday celebrations. I prefer an open rooftop seating, rather than an indoor one. But if you think otherwise, then they also closed space for you. Love the fact that there is a projector installed for live screening of sports/non sports events. I don't know if this counts but they have a really nice collection of music that plays subtly in the background. Food 4.5/5. I actually tried a lot of food items here and loved majority of those stuffs. So I'm going to recommend dishes from each category. Beverage Virjin mojito, Strawberry shake, Fruit Beer, Cappuccino and cold coffee P. S They used good quality beans(similar to CCD ones) for their coffee based beverages. Starters Cheese balls, Wonton Wrappers, Veg platter and Non veg platter. CHEESE BALLS IS MUST HAVE Main course You can't go wrong with their north indian main course dishes, order whatever you like I assure you they are well prepared and flavourful. I strongly recommend Chicken biryani. Dessert I had Brownie with Ice cream which was really good. Price Pretty student friendly priced menu if you ask me. Approx ₹500 ₹600 for two
Favourite coffee place in town Muaahh for coffee is my first reaction about this place. Absolutely loved the coffee both frappe and cappuccino. The cafe has a cozy ambiance perfect for evening hour coffee and dates. Open roof, Mussoorie view good food, what else do you need? Cheese balls are yum-bum-tum and most of the continental cuisine is also very good. Virgin Mojito tho is not a very fancy drink but is really good here for those who choose drinks on the lighter edge is a must try. Go on and have a great date Doonites.
