Jersey's Gameday Grill - Defiance

While the Ham and Cheese Grinder was good, they offer a split side where I got half onion rings and half fryers. Should all onion rings have when they were amazing. Friendly service.

I've been here for a few weeks. I'm not from here, but I wanted to check it before I checked. If you follow me, you know, I just give reviews for #thegoodstuff I suggest you follow me on Google reviews. Okay, the ad's over. Hands down, this is the best pub in Defiance, Ohio! I went to the place called Sinners and was worried about being damaged! I wasn't ashamed and made it home to my hotel. But... If you want the best food, with BARGAIN prices and great service, visit Sid, Emily and Eric (some of the bartenders) and you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. This place delivers at a bargain price! I had a few things here... First, their chicken wings are to THE FOR! There is a BWW directly across the street... Put your hands down. I'll get ALWAYS first! Your lunch is INSANE! I can get one of their specialties with one side for just $5.99... Seriously, this place is the best secret in Ohio! I just have a house salad tonight. My name is Blue Cheese Dressing with one side of her Molten Lava wing sauce. They added it without charge. It was dynamite when you're hot. Very recommended!

In normal times I would rate this place a 3 but given the staff problems and the new normality today I gave them a 4 (wish there was a 3.5). Food lasted longer than expected for a burger and sub. Bartender was attentive, though she was really busy. Husband had the Italian grinder and pommes. Grinder was huge, had to be at least 2 lbs, he ate half (see picture) Pommes were not worth eating or taking home. They were cool and not a big taste she seemed old. I had ordered the black and blue burger medium with Cole Slav. Burger was over boiled, but still had a really good taste. Salad and tomatoes were fresh and the Cole Slav was good but dry. If we went back to the area, we'd stop.

The food was very good and the service was fast and polite. $6 for a roasted 6 inch sub and onion rings is an incredible deal! I have to check it!

Had my son's birthday party here and they are great!!! Even short staffed, service was excellent and food was good. They are definitely a hidden gem in defiance.
