Captain D's - Defiance

Man working the counter was great. The fish was a bit greasy for my taste as were the chips.

Fish was cooked to hard oil also need to be changed fries was too salty

Have been here several times and enjoyed the food service. Today we ate lunch, there was a black hair in the cole slaw. I took my plate to the counter and told the server. She went to the kitchen window asked for a cup of cole slaw. Cook said something she said there was a hair in it. She brought cup of slaw over set it on the counter, when I didn't take it right away, she asked if I wanted another plate. I said yes. She got another plate set it on the counter. I moved the fish hush puppies but had no way of moving the mac cheese. There was no apology and was not helpful at all. Didn't offer to get more mac cheese or a spoon to transfer what I had. Very disappointed.

Had free coupons for meal and drink. Ordered salmon,. We had to pay for our drinks, said it was 5.34 tax. After waiting 10min or more, they were out of salmon. Ordered wh. fish and shrimp. White fish was not cooked throughly. Shrimp was good. We had won coupons at Symphony of Trees. Not sure I will return.

The fish was thinner.. chicken really small. Not as good as it use to be. Beryy disappointed.
