Greekrave - Deer Park

These guys are great. My order is always complicated and they always get it right. Every time I’ve been in to pick up my food the staff has been warm and welcoming. The food is so good and for the right price. If you want Greek in Deer Park, this is thespot I suggest.

We have been ordered takeouts several times from this neighborhood restaurant. We love their Krave Bowl and Krave Quesadilla! So delicious! Never disappointed.

This restaurant may not be suitable for those with a Greek background or anyone who is accustomed to authentic Greek cuisine. The Avgolemono (referred to as Chicken Lemon Orzo Soup) had an overwhelming artificial lemon flavor and lacked any creaminess, while the chicken tasted like it came from a can. The Pork Souvlaki was poorly seasoned, and the Tzatziki resembled sour cream with little garlic and no hint of dill. Additionally, the Spanakorizo (brown spinach rice) was bland and dry.

Everything here is absolutely fantastic! You can choose anything from the menu, and you're sure to be satisfied. The staff is wonderful, too. This was my first experience with Greek cuisine, and I’m definitely a fan now!

My last appetizer on Earth would definitely be the Greek dumplings from Greek Rave. They are out of this world! The meat has a delightful Mediterranean flavor and they are perfectly deep-fried. Served with a chipotle dip, they reach peak deliciousness. The closest relative to these dumplings would be the empanada; if they were to have a party, the Greek dumplings would take the place of the empanada in the Greek empire. They are truly fantastic!
