All doors have the problem that, despite being covered with soundproof material, there is a huge gap under the door that lets the sound through. You could hear both the running and noise from the kids in the hallway in our room through this, and you could probably hear what your partner and I were doing in the room in the hallway, whatever that might be. Sometimes it's quite tight with parking, so it's not always a sure thing. Overall I recommend.
