Bidrage med feedbackWe came here for a birthday celebration dinner and definitely plan to come back. The only odd thing was that we weren’t able to take advantage of the happy hour because of where we were seated. It seemed like too much of an inconvenience for us to move but we could’ve saved $30+ if we had. If you’re second guessing the calamari because it says kimchi don’t! I love kimchi and my husband isn’t the biggest fan but we got it and it was amazing. I would never describe it as kimchi inspired but there are some vegetables in the calamari that are used for kimchi so I guess that’s where it comes from. It’s also not spicy at all so no need to fear.
We go here every year for our Anniversary. This year our waiter was not the best. We will keep going here though because everyone has an off day unfortunately his happened to be the night we were there. Food is always good and really enjoy the view.
My husband and I went here for a fancy dinner on our honeymoon and we are OBSESSED. Chris was our waiter and he was super kind and provided great service! We will 100% be coming back. The food was all amazing, my husband got the citrus Parmesan snapper and it was cooked perfectly with a great portion. I got the savory shrimp pasta and it was delicious. We also had the calamari and truffle fries which were both amazing. I got the mojitos (pomegranate and mango) which were so dangerous because of how good they were!
Great happy hour deals! Really enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip, skinny fries, sliders and firecracker shrimp from the happy hour menu. Also loved the moscato sangria and we all got creme brûlée that ended up being my favorite dish from the evening! Place really filled up around 4:45pm, we got there right at 4:30 and it was perfect timing. We sat at one of the small circular high tops and had a hard time with four of us and fitting all our appetizers/ drinks/ plates on the table. Next time I would sit at a booth or the bar :
On 2/25/24 we chose to celebrate our 23rd Anniversary at the Daytona CH and as a Landry member, this wasn't our first time here. We have been celebrating our anniversary dinner here for over 15 years, and tonight's experience was very subpar and very disappointing as we look forward to this EVERY year. After being seated for a while, probably about 10 mins, our waiter finally came to take our drink orders. Husband ordered his Jack and coke, and I tried the (new to me) caged tiki- they were good. We also ordered our usual bowl of clam chowder and crab cakes to start, and went ahead and put in our order for the main course as we already knew what we wanted- we both got the filet, one with the mashed potatoes with a side of mushrooms and my husband got his with the furikake rice. *this is when they usually suggest the Lava cake as it takes time to prepare and bake...but it was not mentioned.... When our main dishes came, we had no steak knives to cut into our steak to see if they were cooked to our liking. He said he would be right back with some knives...we waited, and waited and waited... meanwhile our steaks were getting cold and sides were getting cold and drying out. We sat there patiently as we observed him serving plates of food to two other tables nearby. We finally stopped another waiter and told him we have been waiting for our knives to cut into our steaks, he promptly brought them over. Which adds to my my frustration as to why our waiter couldn't have done the same thing when he said he would bring them right over?! Our waiter finally came back over to us, per our request to inform him that our food has cooled down because he neglected to provide proper utensils to eat with. His excuse was he was very busy, which I understand, but all we needed were knives to cut into our meat with- which his co worker provided for us within seconds. He did offer to remake our food, but I declined as we already waited long enough. After our conversation his attitude and demeanor towards us changed drastically making it very awkward. He didn't come back to check on us until he brought our bill. After paying, we left feeling off and disappointed. When we made the decision to have our dinner here we expected quality- in food and service and when those expectations are not met, it's such a let down.
