Really wanted to love this place as love sushi and most reviews are highly rated. But sushi was only just so-so and not that fresh ????. Super friendly service, generous portions and fantastic prices kind of made up for it.

Umi Sushi, now known as Charlie 's Sushi at it 's new location on Queen Street, Wainuiomata. The owner is very friendly and chatty. If you buy heaps of sushi he gives you some free rice balls. Great sushi, my favourites a Teriyaki Chicken and Chicken Kebabs where they make their own sauce and it tastes amazing. I have had all kinds of sushi and the hot meals before and they 're all good. Can 't go wrong here, highly recommended.

I think this sushi place is a yummy freaah place to eat. with friendly service and amazing food, it is a great place to relax and socialize with friends and family.
