Sun Palace Restaurant - Dawson Creek

I love this place. It is no longer a sitting restaurant like many places since Covid, but the food is really good and the people are nice.

A group of 6 of us ate there yesterday at the buffet for lunch. We all enjoyed their beautiful food for a very reasonable price! The skewered shrimps are simply amazing. Her deep roasted chicken is moist and tasty. Prawns great. Many other great food for you to try. I think this place is one of Dawson's best food stops. The best value for your dollar. We'll keep in this place whenever we can. The place is very casual, but clean. The owners are very friendly. It has a nice large parking lot. Try it.

Drove through Dawson Creek and stopped to get a dinner. The food was fresh and ordered. The family that owns this restaurant is very friendly and welcoming. Come on.

I often command here. Been ordered here for the last years and it was always delicious. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but I enjoy the food every time and never had a problem.

The lady was very nice and didn 't speak very good English which I thought was a good sign and the atmosphere was that of a humble shop that quite often exceeds expectations. I ordered a combination for 1 with s/s pork, chicken chow mein, and an egg roll. The pork was ok but I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant than I was in the chow mein . A few shredded pieces of what I assume is chicken, although it was about as white as the take out container it came in, and a couple slices of celery on a bed of SPAGHETTI noodles that had a funny taste to them. Egg roll was unique, a deep fried pocket rather than a 'roll ' but it was pretty good. I would have half a mind to go back if I wasn 't working at the time, I 'd bought it to-go so I could hit the road. I ate the pork and roll but was unable to manage more than a few bites of the rest. I 'm not sure where the rest of these reviews came from but I would not recommend this place to anyone.
