Strela Pass - Davos Platz

Excellent restaurant on the mountain of Davos. You can reach it from the centre at a height of 4km. Amazing view over the valley. The service was excellent with the staff friendly and attentive. Simple dishes of excellent quality with very fresh ingredients that are usually produced locally. Good... worth a visit.

This place to difficult to get to (either on skis or a long uphill hike , thus all the more surprising and rewarding to see what kind of great dished are on offer. The interior is also very pleasant. We enjoyed it a lot! The address...given is not correct, this place is high up above the Talstation, but it probably has no street name ;

After the hike any Restaurant serving drinks was good enough. We did not eat at the Strela Pass, but the food we saw being served, looked nice.

I can't say that we necessarily experienced the restaurant to its full extent here. After hiking up the Strela Pass we stopped here for a refresher, not a meal. We ended up getting a beer, a bottle of Valser and 2 chocolate bars. It did...come to 17F for these items, but I guess when you factor in the cost of getting these items up to a mountain pass it makes sense. They were however, probably the best tasting beer/water/chocolate bars we've ever had. After a great hike any treat tastes unbelievable, so in that way these items were entirely worth the money. Also, absolutely nothing beats that view. I would easily spend another 17F on a few treats next time, it's worth it.
