Authentic Asian (Chinese) cuisine good service, very helpful, but they don 't make their own hot mustard sauce ??

Lived in China for about 10 years. This is the best Cantonese style I’ve found in the Florida. For the uninitiated, it’s a bit different than the garbage you get at most takeout places. Portions are better too. They also have roast meats on site that are very traditional. I recommend the beef chow fun. Love

Hong's BBQ is located in an old strip mall on Stirling Road off University in Davie Florida. The restaurant is small with no more than 10 tables.The restaurant's decor is limited to old posters on the wall.We often go to Tamarac for Chinese BBQ so we were disappointed that Hong's had run out of soy sauce chicken and roast duck when we last visited.The food was good but underseasoned. The Chinese Broccoli with Garlic Sauce was the best dish with tender crunchy stalks. The Peking Pork Chops $15.95 needed more vinegar and the Beef Chow Fun $15.95 needed more ginger, garlic and salted black beans.

OMG THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST CHINESE FOOD I'VE EVER GOTTEN WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THE REVIEWS ON HERE ARE ALL LIES I ORDERED THE HUNAN BEEF THEY WOULDN'T LET ME CHANGE THE RICE TO SHIRMP FRIED RICE AND I WAS WILLING TO PAY THE UP-CHARGE I ALSO ORDERED AN EGG ROLL AND EVERYTHING WAS DISGUSTING? THE FOOD TASTE LIKE STRAIGHT FREEZER BURN I DON'T KNOW IF EVERYTHING WAS FRIED IN THE SAME GREASE BUT EACH AND EVERYTHING TASTED JUST LIKE EACH OTHER. IT WAS LIKE OLD FREEZER BURNT MEAT, THE RICE TASTED OLD THE EGG ROLL TASTED LIKE THEY GOT IT FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE DERP FREEZER. THIS WAS AN OVER-ALL TERRIBLE 1ST LAST EXPERIENCE.
