Epicure Restaurant Tafewa - Davenport

We have eaten here twice in the last months and it was delicious. determined to eat. 2 courses for $16.00 we had a small amuse of venison sausage on flower charcoal, then steak sandwich with polnta chips - really delicious, delicate steak. we have chosen. berry meringue smash- that was amazingly presented and so well costed. drinks are cheap - we had a berry smoothie $4.00 lovely service from the tafe students. will be back in 2020.

Fabulous evening with magnificent dining and very attentive service pampered. they have been here for many years and always have an amazing meal. it is a training restaurant, so sometimes some can serve flaws...spink drinks, etc. the service is designed in the rule exceptional...as personal in silver service. highly recommended.

A large group of us went here to birthday parties and due to our large number we sat over 2 tables. the dinner was a 5-course tasting that I had with wine pairing. that was delicious, I really have every one. they were all well cooked and sufficient in size to enjoy and without being full. the part was the wee seemed to come fast, in the reality it was served only in front of the court it was fit. a very nice note was that the chefs at the end of the night come to meet the diners. a really nice note and they must first hear the opinions of their guests. total a fantastic night and all up it cost about $80, 5 course dinner, aperitif and wine pair. I'm back for more.

I have visited this training restaurant several times over the years and have always been very impressed with the quality of the food. The menu is frequently inventive and changes throughout the year, offering options such as a la carte, set menus, or tastings. They also have a Christmas menu. The food is always well-cooked and beautifully presented, with generous portions. Reservations can be hard to come by as the restaurant is only open for limited hours a few times a week, and seating is limited. Prices are very reasonable and much more affordable than other restaurants of similar caliber. The level of service from the student waitstaff can vary depending on their experience, but they are well-supervised and receive instruction when needed. Overall, a great spot for a delicious meal.

I dined here recently with friends just to try something different. We had the set menu for $28pp which was a 3 course meal. It was all really delicious and plenty of food. The dessert was amazing and one of my friends asked for the...recipe which was gladly printed out for her to take but probably won't attempt as it involved many steps!! hahaha. The students were a bit nervous but very eager to please and do things right they were well supervised. Very reasonably priced and a nice night out mid week which wasn't late as 6:15pm start.
