Davenport Diner

Honestly, the picture doesn't make it right because the plate is the size of my head and it was absolutely delicious. I have the land of Benedikt, and there were all the other eggs of Benedikt, which I ever had to shame! The staff was very friendly and it is super cheap for everything you get. Next time we're in Florida.

Not a perfect take out order but we ate it! Was greeted promptly and order was ready to go at pick-up time (which was changed from our original request). Our order consisted of a messy turkey club sandwich and chef salad. A side order of potato salad was also ordered. The sandwich bread was requested to be lightly toasted, yet did not appear toasted at all. The sandwich fell apart when picking it up and trying to take a. bite. But, it was good with lots of turkey and bacon. The fresh chips with the sandwich were tasty. The chef salad was supposed to have ranch dressing on the side but that was not received. Good thing we had some dressing available! The food was good. Just needed a little better presentation and execution. We may try a dine in experience next time as we do love diner food!

Ordered from this diner for the first time and we were not disappointed. My sister had the BLT sandwich and it was nice and hearty. My Mushroom and Swiss burger was HUMONGOUS! Thick burger patty looked like it was nearly a pound, could've used a bit more seasoning on it but it was delish. Fresh lettuce and tomato, nice bun. The mushrooms could've been sliced a little bit thicker but overall it was a GREAT BURGER! CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THEIR OTHER ENTREE'S.

WOW, GREAT! This was the first time here. And it will be our restaurant number one. We were worried because every restaurant in Davenport was full on Sunday. Then we came to the diner, and they were packed, but we were right with two people. I couldn't believe it when they bought our food fast and hot within 10 minutes. Unbelievable. The roast potatoes were like me. The pancakes were great and my daughter loves her and it's hard to please her. You must be here. At the end of my meal I stood up and said ATTENTION, I love this part, of course my daughter ran out of embarrassment LOL. Sometimes you just have to surprise your kids to show that you're never old to be stupid. Heh

Sweet little diner! She saw it from the side of the street and decided to try it. Our daughter really loved the ash-brown. The pancake was amazing how a vanilla cake smeared in pancake form/textur! The cookies and gravy were nothing special, and honestly really embarrassing, and the eggs Benedict were just okay. Coffee tasted like a light roast. The staff was super friendly and our food came with speed of lightning! I highly recommend giving this place a shot, it is a super nice local restaurant and we will surely come back!
