This Must be the Place - Darlinghurst

This sure is the place if you’re after some of the best cocktails in Sydney. These guys have won all kinds of awards for their cocktail-making prowess, and all deserved because they most definitely know their way around a cocktail shaker. Choose something off the menu or ask for something bespoke – the dapper gents behind the bar will happily oblige. There’s also a tightly-curated list of wines, spritzes and snack foods.<br/ <br/ This Must Be The Place isn’t like any other small bar in the area. For starters, it stands alone on Oxford Street. Secondly, the space is light and bright. Thirdly, the service is next level friendly.

Went here on a recommendation of a foodie friend.Not many bars near it so it's a welcome addition in that particular spot. Bright and open, beautifully styled and modern with peach tones and nice art. It's primarily a bar serving a good range of cocktails and wines, they do have some food but on this occasion we were just there for drinks. The cocktail menu is one that i've not seen before; an interesting array of ingredients like rose water, eucalyptus etc. Apparently the bar tender is an award winning cocktail maker wouldn't be surprised! He also offered suggestions as to drinks we'd like. Great visit.

Great tasting drinks and nice, bright ambience and decor. Also had some of the snacks which were pretty good.Would like to come back to try some more of their creations.
