Bidrage med feedbackI loved the hot chocky you served me on this Sunday! Thanks for that : 10/10 would visit again, since they have vegetarian options as well.
The Stop Valve restaurant experience begins with a striking street art mural on the wall, giving a nod to the building's history before it became an espresso bar. We were warmly welcomed and experienced top-notch service from the owner, who clearly has a passion for hospitality. The meals were flawless and the setting well-designed. Stop Valve focuses on quality over quantity, with a small number of tables, high-quality ingredients (including their own roasted decaf beans), and a concise menu featuring both expected favorites and unexpected delights. The pulled pork roll with apple slaw is a must-try, and the Fried Chicken and Waffles showcase the kitchen's creativity and commitment to excellence. Stop Valve, thank you for a memorable dining experience in Sydney. Well done!
Despite its small size and inconspicuous appearance, this hole-in-the-wall restaurant is worth a visit. With just a handful of stools and a few tables outside, you might not expect much, but give it a chance and you'll understand why they can charge $14-$16 for their rolls and burgers with an Asian twist. The pulled pork roll, in particular, stands out with its crunchy baguette crust, apple slaw, and optional chili topping. It's a satisfying and substantial meal, perfect for grabbing on the go. Surprisingly, the table service is quite proactive, even though the restaurant is primarily geared towards takeout customers.
I have never been let down by the food or the coffee at this restaurant, they are probably the best in the Stanley Street area. The natural muesli is excellent, I just wish they had more seating options.
I was impressed with my coffee from this Darlo cafe, which was shoehorned in beside a massive stop valve. Very good flavour and well poured.
