This place has great atmosphere, good food nice friendly staff and the prices are great for the quality of the food It is in a nice stop in the street

We were delighted to discover this hidden gem with top-notch ingredients, a genuine atmosphere, affordable prices, and a fantastic chef! We highly recommend trying the okonomiyaki, eggplant with crab sauce, and teriyaki beef.

Sawa is a quaint and traditional Japanese restaurant located in Darlinghurst, offering a variety of dishes for both lunch and dinner. As a big fan of Japanese cuisine, I am constantly seeking out new Japanese eateries, so I decided to try this place with some friends. We ordered a selection of dishes to share, including the Kobachi, a sashimi mix salad with avocado. I particularly enjoyed the flavorful sauce that tied all the ingredients together.

I absolutely adored the decor and cozy ambiance at this restaurant. The fresh sashimi and delectable karaage chicken were a pleasant surprise compared to other Japanese restaurants. The prices were reasonable and provided good value for the delicious, high-quality Japanese cuisine. We will definitely be returning on a regular basis.

We ordered sashimi set, mix tempura and few appetizer to match our drinks. All very delicious and well presented, especially like sashimi set. Even not really fancy restaurant but food was much better than average Japanese Restaurant. Staff were courteous and friendly too, so I would definitely recommend Sawa to anyone waiting a good meal.
