Saigon Bay - Darlinghurst

I was in Sydney for work overnight and didn't feel like going out to find dinner on foot. Thank goodness for Deliveroo! I came across Saigon Bay and the Vietnamese salad caught my eye. I ended up ordering the steam-fried Ha Cao dumplings and prawn fried rice. It was delicious! Sorry, I didn't take any pictures, I was too busy enjoying my meal.

I was worried that the pancake would be soggy, but it turned out to be crispy as if it had just been made. I really enjoyed the authenticity of the dish, with mung beans in the batter and large lettuce leaves to wrap the pancake pieces. It felt like we were transported back to Vietnam!

We had a great meal at this restaurant using a Groupon voucher. We didn't have much experience with Vietnamese food, so we were excited to try it out. The fried pancake dish was delicious and unique, and the lemongrass chicken had a nice spicy kick. The service was excellent as well. We would definitely return for another meal.

Good service. This was my second time here and the pleasant hostess made all the difference. The food is good although it seems more Chinese than Viet. The duck crepe/pancakes are good.

Awesome Vietnamese. First time I had been but the food was great. The staff were friendly. I highly recommend it.
