Bidrage med feedbackYear after year, this establishment consistently delivers the best late-night burgers and fries. I have been enjoying them since 1990, and they continue to be just as delicious as ever. I affectionately refer to them as Heritage Burgers or simply the quintessential suburban burger. This is what authentic Aussie burgers should taste like. The burgers are made by the same guys I have seen there every night for over 25 years, which adds to the cool factor. While there are other menu options, the perfectly cooked chips are a must-have. They come in a heat-reflective bag and be sure to get some sauce with them. Unfortunately, they don't serve gravy, which would be a bonus. I recommend dining in the back upstairs area, as it feels like a little slice of heaven. There was a period where this place kept me going, so I have a deep love for it and its delicious offerings. The taste is just right.
I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant since I was young. The staff here have always taken care of me. You won't find a better burger and chips in central Sydney. The atmosphere is welcoming and it's conveniently located next to the Oxford and Stonewall. Currently, they're playing Macho Man on Indigenous Radio which adds to the experience. My only suggestion is to always order something fresh for the best taste. However, I have enjoyed their front of house pizza slices in the past. The staff are genuine and have been in business for a long time so it's important to show them respect. Overall, a great and authentic dining experience.
