McGah's Pub & Pianos - Danville

Your pianist, Jared, is an incredible performer. He saw him when he was in NC. Never failed to create a phenomenal performance. Too bad he moved. In any case, the trip is worth seeing.

They were super accommodating when I made reservations and gave us a table next to the stage. The bar was really crowded when we arrived and they had a server that was super sweet and fast. Would I? ve there were five stars, but the pianist wasn't even close to being an Elton John, but they did their best to give the audience a really good time. When you tap them, they will play your song immediately and do their best to make it good, but remember that they need to know every song on the planet that is almost impossible. My cousin said it was great? but for me it was a really good time spent with fun pianist.

I really like to promote small towns, but this place seems to give up. I'm sure the pandemic is part of the problem, but things seem to go down here. Over the years I have gone to players (and several names before). On Saturday night at 8:00 and at 11:00 it was maybe half full. Perhaps it was only a slow night in Danville, or perhaps because: 1) they had no food, as the kitchen 'ab' for the foreseeable future; 2) They had no design beer, and the only beer with any taste they had in the bottle was Lagunitas IPA, good choice buy very often 3) Their mixed drinks were probably half of them in a glass that might hold 8 ounces with ice. 4) Finally, used to space for a temporary dance floor. Not this time. People who danced (especially our little group) had to be looking for people who wanted to go outside and vice versa. Always out of the way, on stage, etc.

I came here for a private male stripe show Hunks it was like an outdoor / back yard strip club that was interesting. They did most of it and did their ass on the little stage they had. You had an outdoor bar that could you think any kind of taste-frozen **** Margarita?????????????????? They borrowed the bar pretty much so they could put their stripes on. We all sat on lawn chairs. Many men twerking and ****? The female bartenders seemed to be over the whole show before the night was over lol. No parking in front of the building, but close to a walking distance that is free.

What you see in Google maps is not the same as what you get when you go there. The menu has changed to Mexican only! and the place now has a run down vibe. Russian Mules were given to us in a plastic glass instead of the mugs ! You do not find any of the menu items that google shows you. Very disappointed at how the actual Xp turned out.
