Mariposa Taqueria - Danbury

Mariposa would get more than 5 stars if available! The food is absolutely amazing, and service was impeccable. I have food allergies to onions and garlic which go hand in hand with these dishes. The chef/owner went above and beyond for me, and I wasable to enjoy a dinner with my friends without skipping a beat. Highly recommend.

We dined in and the food was so good we came back to order take out. Everything was made fresh, hot and delicious.

Visited Mariposa through a recommendation and I fell in love with it! The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, food was delicious, and the drinks were very well curated. I tried the Camarones, Birria, and Dorado tacos, as well as, the Carne Mechadaarepas, Jicama Slaw. and Mexican corn. I also tried the Piña Punch, Where's the Rum Gone, and Fiery Nights drinks and I was inheaven. The levels of flavor?! Only sad thing about it was there isn't another location closer to me in the Hartford area.Highly recommended!

Nice place, al pastor tacos and birria tacos, 100% recommend, Margaritas good and strong too. Get the passionfruit lemonade!!

Just moved here from Jersey. Saw the great reviews so we decided to give it a try! The only reason I didn't go back to the restaurant to complain was because I live in Bethel. I got a steak quesidilla a steak burrito and a few other things for thefamily. As you look at the pics you can see the lack of meat and cheese in this quesidilla and you can see the burrito isnothing but a big rice bath. The few pieces of steak that were in there was dry and over cooked. It was like eating beefjerky..I was so hoping we found a new spot but I guess we'll just have to keep looking....smh...this is almost criminal to passthis off as food! Worst experience ever !
