Bidrage med feedbackThe French toast was great! The ambiance is nice, and the staff is friendly; however, the service could be improved. We stood at the podium for a while to be sat, the food took forever to come out, and our food had arrived before we received any drinks, our food came out wrong, and then they forgot to bring the correct eggs out. Overall, it seems like they?re understaffed, but it wasn?t terrible, but there?s huge room for improvement.
Great food and drinks. Nice ambiance. We ordered shrimp quesadillas and cilantro brown rice. It was delicious. We?re staying downtown for a staycation so we?re probably going back tomorrow. Oh and the mimosas were very good as well for only $4. Dont hesitate to check out Primo?s
Good food, decent service, really cool vibe. Definitely not authentic Mex or Tex-Mex, but still tasty. Great location! BFF and I ate at Primo?s before a show at The Majestic.
Visit on Christmas DayThe place was busy and there were only one person running the bar plus tables, and another server handling all other tables. Our server was also the bartender and had his hands full. We paid about 30 after finishing our food and waiting for the check. I will not be commenting on service, just the food.Free chips and salsas on the table- the darker red salsa is their house sauce. Don 't expect to get any details on what 's in it because it 's a secret and so good!Had a large bowl of queso which was $12. It was honestly the size of a cup instead of a bowl and not worth $12. I ate with 5 other adults and it was barely enough for us to share. Tasted good, but would not get again as it seems costly. The cup of chicken tortilla soup $7 was delicious. Made extremely well. The fajitas come in a really nice tower stack and the presentation is fun. Both chicken and beef fajitas were made well though I prefer beef after trying both. Chicken $21: Beef $23If I 'm going again, definitely getting the brisket enchiladas- hands down my favorite dish of the night with the meat being cooked to perfection! $15 and one of the most affordable dishes of the meal.Primos MX Steak Frites were a bit of a let down $28). Plain meat with fries- not impressive. Just a word of caution that they tend to overlook the meat, when we asked for medium, it came out medium-well.Quesadillas were $9 but you have to pay extra to add a meat. These are kid friendly and standard.Perfectly fried chimichanga, had a great taste but was really surprised that it was stuffed with sour cream? Also tried the churro pancakes $13) which was a joke. Do not waste money on this item. Came with two stuffed churros good) with legit plain regular tasting pancakes. So you’re getting pancakes with a side of churros... not that the pancakes taste like churros. Also our pancakes were burned on the bottom and the parts that weren 't burnt didn 't taste good. Just get the churros by themself for dessert.Rice was a bit dry and the beans had an interesting mint aftertaste that 's hard to describe but wasn 't bad.No free or reduced parking. $13 with validation in front of the Statler hotel, would have been $20 with no validation. Valet only accepts card for payment.
We had some friends staying at the hotel and ended up spending quite a bit of time here getting food and drinks throughout the visit/weekend. The staff were incredibly friends and knowledgeable about Dallas. The food was Tex-Mex and had a variety of options that tasted great.
