Ruggeri's - Dallas

This is not a complaint about Ruggeri's. This is a complaint about Open Table, which allowed us to book a reservation at a restaurant that seems to be closed for construction. When we arrived at the restaurant and discovered it was closed, Open Table would not allow me to cancel the reservation and make a new one. It repeatedly instructed me to call the restaurant, but my calls went unanswered. Open Table, please ensure that the restaurants listed on your site are open for business! And if they are not, please allow customers to cancel their reservations and make alternative arrangements.

This fantastic restaurant has excellent nightly specials and a wonderful atmosphere. The talented piano player performs classic standards and even takes requests from diners.

The food at this restaurant always maintains a consistent level of quality.

The restaurant has a dated atmosphere and decor, and the food is just average.

I have been dining at Ruggeri's for several years now, although not so much lately at this particular location. We had a pleasant experience and enjoyed the food. Personally, I found the pasta options to be limited for my liking, but everyone else in my group seemed to thoroughly enjoy the overall experience.
