Pecan Lodge - Dallas

Came last night for dinner. As usual, the meat were soft and rich, very flavorful. Don?t have to drive to Austin for the BBQs. We got a great one here. I especially loved their sausage, best one I?ve had. Sides were good too, wished there was cream cornhere though.

We had heard and read the hype about the Pecan Lodge so when we came to Dallas from Ohio, this was on our must see list. We were also aware there could be a wait and maybe food would run out before we got inside. Luckily, we walked right in, ordered and gotour food very fast. It was delicious! I didn't even need bbq sauce for the pulled pork it was that good! The potato salad wasthe best I've ever had. My husband had the sausage and brisket which was also amazing! the mac n cheese was so good and had alittle kick to it. I'm a little picky on lemonade because it can be too tart for me. Their lemonade are was perfect!! Thank youfor the experience and the amazing food and service.

Food was delicious! All BBQ is over priced in my opinion. It usually all tastes the same to me. Pecan lodge was a bit different. The flavors were a great surprise. I?d expect better seating options for the price range. I would not have a chair in thiscondition in my dining room. Everything else was great. Staff was super friendly and on point!

Previously an Old town favorite. After doing some regional BBQ tasting recon, returned unimpressed w/ how dry the brisket was. Sides were good. Ribs were awesome. Fried ribs, not so much. Overall, I left with a sense of complacency, that they are contenton pumping out meats compared to tender love and care as before. Still a good Q. Gotta try the sausage. Service is amazing .Must try in the area.

We absolutely loved this place!! The vibe was rustic and cool. The staff was friendly and clear in their questions. The food was outstanding! We recommend the pulled pork sandwich, the pork ribs, and the brisket. The Mac n cheese comes with bacon but wasnothing special and the coleslaw was awesome with a little heat! We will definitely return!!
