City Tavern - Dallas

I met here before lewis black in the majestic family. the atmosphere was great, the bartender and our server were polite and attentive. the burgers were good, but my heart, the Brisket nachos were really unforgettable. this was chosen mainly in the city of the city by our meeting point.

You need to remove open table. didn't even use it. no table ready, we went and went somewhere else. bouncer said they did not use open table in a long time.

They said they don't use an open table anymore so we can't get in.

They did not seem to be connected with open table. look at us as if we were crazy for a reservation, did not seem to know that they used open tables. created a table for our group of 5 with bartic and chairs from the storage. we are sitting in the middle of a narrow passage, in which the high traffic of the customers constantly pushes us down again and again. never again

Made a reservation about a month in advance before traveling for work. Turns out there is no such things as a reservation here??? Luckily when we showed up a table for four opened up. Unfortunately our “reservation” was for six. Two of us had to stand for quite a while before we could drag over another empty table (by ourselves). That being said, the food was tasty and the drinks were great. We would definitely go again. Just wouldn’t waste our time making a reservation.
