Bandito's Tex Mex Cantina - Dallas

I don?t like giving one stars but this was probably the worst experience I?ve had at any restaurant before. Upon meeting some friends for dinner I was never greeted once seated and never got a glass of water. I tried waving down our waiter several timesand was ignored. I was able to get the attention finally of another server and got a drink. Later on one of our friends got amargarita and decided to get 2 they brought out 2 8oz glasses and later we found out he was charged $25 for them instead ofbringing out the 18oz glass that was only $15. We were confused on why they did that and they told us we have to specificallyask for that larger glass. Even though every time we?ve been there we automatically got the larger glass. The server becameirritated and told us we can speak to the manager and so we did the manager, most likely still in college came over and was veryimmature. He asked us why we were arguing and instead of finding a solution told us there?s nothing they can do, and walkedaway. It seemed weird but we weren?t to aggravated by the situation and went back to having a good time. The waiter came by anddrop off our check, left then while walking past with a drink for another table i turned and was about to give him my card butout of know where the server behind him told him and I quote ?don?t listen to those F*g*ts? I was confused as to if I heard thatcorrectly because it was out of nowhere. My friend and I stood up and confronted the server who said that towards us. He said itwasn?t directed at us but clearly it was. The whole situation began to escalate. It was eventually calmed down by the only clearheaded worker there and we stepped outside to talk with him he apologized for his coworkers and gave us each $25 gift card. Butthe experience was awful. Also they told us that worker will have a ?long talking to? but in my opinion calling your quests thatderogatory word should have more consequences then a long talk.

Oh my gosh, this place is delicious! It had been several years since I last went so I was so happy to see that it hadn't changed! Food was super yummy! And I love the setting with its exposed brick wall. If you are near University/Highland Parkdon't miss out! I will definitely be returning, and soon!!

I'm just going to get straight to it. The food is terrible. It's just slop on a plate. No one in my party liked their food. The drinks are terrible too. If I were the owner I'd focus more on quality not quantity because they do serve you a lot of food. it's just not good.
