Bidrage med feedbackSecond time coming here and loved it again so decided to write a review. It's a small restaurant and all the drawings on the walls are done by the owner. The service was fantastic and the food was flavorful. Plus once you're finished eating you can walk right next door and grab yourself some Asian groceries.
Pretty eclectic decor inside this restaurant. Beautiful etchings made by the chef are prominently displayed. Had the chicken tonkatsu, gyoza, and miso soup. The gyoza's outer shell was rock hard though. Will probably return to try other items. Service was fast as I was the only customer at 6:30 pm.
We ordered the chicken cutlet. It basically was a thin chicken breast coated in light breading with a red sauce sprinkled on it. The sauce had like a tangy flavor. It was good. The miso soup had a good flavor. It's a nice little spot. The service was driendly and quick.
Very cute place. Mom and pop restaurant. Friendly folks. I had the Spicy Ramen and it was delicious. Artwork is very neat too, it's all hand drawn by the chef.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp out front, but it's a little steep.
I have been looking for a place that serves actual Japanese food. Not teppanyaki, or Westernised sushi, but simple dishes you’d find at someone home or Simple lunch counter. The Miso soup was so rich and flavour. I ordered the Tonkatsu as a main and was more than pleased. Light, fresh, and served by a genuinely warm hostess. This was my first visit, but will not be my last!
