Stateside - Dakbayan sa Malolos

I visited this restaurant with my son, who was craving a burger. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in terms of both the ambiance and the food. I found it to be a disappointing, somewhat distorted version of an American restaurant. The nachos, quesadillas, and fries all had a strange hint of sweetness that I wasn't expecting. I didn't try the burger, but it looked dry. Even the root beer float had ice in it, which was not how I typically enjoy this classic beverage with vanilla ice cream. The restaurant appeared poorly maintained, with a dirty atmosphere that raised concerns about hygiene. I could even detect a bad odor from the restroom, saw food crumbs on the seats, and noticed a couple of roaches. I hesitated to think about the kitchen's cleanliness. Despite the waitress's best efforts, she was the only staff member on duty when we arrived, leading to some delays in service. On a positive note, the restaurant did make an effort to showcase an American theme through the decorations. Overall, my experience here was disappointing, and I am unsure about trusting the kitchen based on what I observed in the dining area.

Everything was fantastic! The atmosphere, the food, and the friendly servers. A definite must-try! We will definitely be returning next week.

I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend and we tried their largest burger. The buns were generously filled with the patty. Personally, I detected some cumin in the patty that I wasn't a fan of. However, the burger was good value for money and it was large enough to share.
