El Jinete Mexican - Dacula

Great food, fun music and attentive staff. The portions were big and food came out fast. We enjoyed dancing in our seats to the upbeat music. They need to do music events if they don't already.

Nobody greets you when you arrive or offers you to sit down. The waiters just look at you and walk by, you have to call them if you want to be served.

Went for the first time to try it out on a Sunday. Went there around 4PM so not crowded. Awful service. We didn’t get acknowledged by anyone for over 5 minutes. Person bringing chips out passed our table several times before brining chips. I gave my drink order 4+ times. We had 2 adults and 2 children. He and other staff members seems to have no urgency or care in the world. Once we ordered the food arrived quickly. Cheese dip is overpriced based on other local restaurants we frequent. Got charged a premium because we wanted a cheaper chicken. Our waiter failed to refill our drinks or check on us after getting food. He finally comes over with 2 empty glasses and ask if we need more to drink!? After getting check and questioning the up charge, I paid with credit card and guess what, another chard to pay with credit card. This charge was not advertised at all anywhere. I understand why it’s there but for a chain restaurant to charge that is t acceptable, especially when they are pricing bad service and average food. We were not the only ones complaining about the service and such.Beware before you go!!!!

Fantastic food and portions. It's a bit loud but the service was lightning fast. I'd rate this the best Mexican restaurant in Dacula area.

Food was good besides stale chips, service was okay. Not my fav place but would come again.
