Bidrage med feedbackThe vegan curry was very sharp, but fresh and good. Friendly and fast operation. All clean.
Friendly team. Fresh goods and highly recommended. Prices are OK
Plenty of choice and good food, there are no problems at the buffet and the waiting times are not so long
I visited the Dachau Memorial on a recent trip to Munich. I was on my own and have a very limited understanding of the German language. It was also a bitterly cold day, so after spending some time in the memorial, I came to this place to eat something and get a cup of tea. The food was good, there was a varied menu and it was very cheap. But what made the difference for me was the patient kindness that I was shown by the staff who were very excited to make sure I enjoyed my meal. When I struggled to get the tea machine to work an employee, rushed to help without being asked and was friendly and patient with me. If they travel alone, these little kindnesses can make a big difference. I am very grateful and enjoyed my meal. I couldn't really ask for something more.
It may seem a little strange to have a cafeteria in a former concentration/death camp, but considering that you can just spend a day here and still don't see everything, it makes sense. Our travel group chose various items from the different options for lunch....I had the carvings and pommes (I wanted potatoes, not pommes, but something was lost in translation), followed by strudel for dessert. The fries were okay, but Schnitzel and Strudel were great. Everyone seemed to enjoy his meals. Usually there is no alcohol beverage option, but there are N.A. beer. The service was very good, but the number of employees with a good understanding of English was probably lower than most places we dined during our trip.
