Bidrage med feedbackSa Rang Che is fucked away from the Gingo Avenue, you will probably not find it except you are looking for it... You should. We stood up and then had to wait for a table because it was already full of people eating. We came back and tucked in absolutely delicious Korean food. The menu is not too big, but has enough opportunities for anyone to find something they would enjoy. We chose BBQ Beef, Spicy Pan Fried Pork and the wings (the part is for two). The restaurant gave us six free small starters/extra/applicers and a delicious soup free, which was a great note when all the foods appeared, we had probably ordered over. But I'm glad we did. I love spicy food, so when we ordered the wings on medium heat (so my friend could also enjoy them! I was glad to find out they had another blow. The sauce in which they are covered is to die, so spicy and so tasteful. Maybe they're the best I've ever eaten. In the end I asked about the recipe, but the waiter had absolutely nothing of it, fair enough! If you want something completely different, try it.
I was excited to find this restaurant as I'd been feeling a bit rough. Kimchi would sort me out! I was so happy to see the banchan (side dishes), as korean restaurants in other countries often fail to include them. They kindly left out all meat for me, as well. The kimchi was delicious, as were the other sides. I ordered bibimbop--but no dolsot bibimbop, alas--and was well-pleased. I enjoyed the lovely atmosphere, as well as the cultural exchange: elderly Peruvian ladies cooing at Korean babies. Loved this place. Good prices, as well, esp. for big portions of quality ingredients. my bibimbop, six sides, and pot of tea came to $11. Well worth it. Wish I had more time to go back!
Good variety of foods and cheap. The wings are winners. You get about 13 massive wings and it is sooo tasteful and good spicy for 50sol.
Given the lack of authentic ingredients, the Korean was decent here and what I needed after weeks of the local fare. Good selection of secondary dishes and tea provided. Just make sure to order with the Korean owner as I went twice and the second time had a problem with ordering from a local employee and thus discrepancy in price. It was bad, but her mistake.
This was recommended to us by a couple we met on a Inca Trail. Hidden just off one of the little streets. We were not disappointed! We didn't really know how much to order got a bit too much but it did not matter for the price. It was so delicious. A cheap meal out for 4 people to share things. Highly recommend eating here if you want something a little different to Peruvian food.
