We stopped to eat something attracted by a sign that indicated as speciality the Panino al Cotechino, typical delicacy of the place, above all, from what we were told, of the great Fair of August. The cotechino sandwich (proposed with sauerkraut, with squaquerone or simple) was good thanks to the cotechino...but it disappointed us a little bit the fact that the bread was the classic industrial bread from burgers, while we would have expected, to make justice to the cotechino (which was really good) of fresh bread. The bar also offers other choices (riso alla salamella, piadine), but I definitely recommend the plan to the cotechino..sperando che change la qualità del pane!

Local typical and particular, looks like a shop that also acts as a bar. Me and a friend stayed at the Curtatone's Saltuario on a Saturday afternoon by chance. polite and sociable maid. We tasted the typical sandwich with the cotechino..particular but the bread was...raped. Of course. Idem la piadina, pasta not good but filling very good. A coke and a beer..12 euro approximately per head. Price ok. Overall a pleasant local experience. Nice premises and nice outdoor tables on the main street of the village.
