Chalet Gabry is a wonderful place. The food is perfect, particularly the fried calamari and the seafood pasta. The wind is delicious. There is a really good selection of craft beer. The staff are lovely and the beach is great.

I spent two and a half weeks in Italy and almost every day was spent at Chalet Gabry. Danilo, Emilio, Monica are fantastic people and run a great Chalet. BEACH CLUB It 's funny I actually slept 30 40 mins away and would commute here daily. Actually, people in Ascoli would suggest you should go to Gabry and I would say yes, that 's where I go because it 's the best. The water is clean, the beds aren 't very close together, the regular guests are awesome, there are bathrooms, showers, wifi, and great chairs umbrellas. But I 'd be amiss if I failed to mention the great people (Danilo, Emilio, Monica, Abdul, the rest). BAR The bar is reasonably priced and a great spot to grab a drink or a coffee. RESTAURANT Some days I ate under my umbrella and other days I ate at the restaurant. It was about 50/50 so I ate in the restaurant often. I was never unhappy with a meal the antipasti, primi, secondi, dolce were all fantastic. Wines reasonably priced. Great service the two servers were always attentive. They even went out of their way to accommodate special requests for a whole fish, to save my dessert for later, etc. Highlight dishes pasta alla scoglio, swordfish, whole roasted fish. Reservations for Lunch Dinner are suggested.

The place is very nice, the beach is clean, the sea is fantastic but the restaurant has excessive prices! ok yes it is all good but are not justified! the excuse of the increases is not acceptable: but must everything fall on the final consumer?

We visited twice five days apart. The first time it was a nice dinner for four of us, with a decent food for a price that is above the average of the region, but still ok. The second time we ordered again the same appetizer with eight different kind of fish for 20€ shared by all four of us. On the bill we found three orders of the large appetizer asking for 60€ ! When I talked to the chief he suddenly did not understand English and insisted on an order of three appetizer for 4 persons that we all shared. If he would have been logical he would have asked for an order of four , but he insisted on three. I gave up and payed but I cannot recommend this place to anyone as they betrayed us. In addition the Food was below good level as you would expect from a tourist trap
